Through our expert team of skilled doctors, led by Board Certified Radiation Oncologist Kevin Khater, M.D., Ph.D., RONI brings our patients the most innovative cancer treatments available today.
Dr. Kevin Khater brings a wealth of radiation oncology experience to the area as team leader of the Radiation Oncology of Northern Illinois facility. Prior to joining RONI, he served as Assistant Professor of Radiobiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI where he was involved in several institutional programmatic developments including Body Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy for Breast Cancer and Immobilization Techniques for Abdominal Thoracic Tumors.
He holds both a medical and a doctorate degree in physiology and biophysics and trained at two of our nation's most prestigious healthcare institutions - Johns Hopkins University/Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and Northwestern University/Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Khater practices solely at the RONI facility, where he is available every week, Monday through Friday.
